The Petersen Automotive Grand Reopening Gala is featured on Bizbash:
“When the Petersen Museum recently held its grand re-opening party, No Static Pro Audio Inc. provided all the audio, video projections, image mapping, content playback, and two wireless HD cameras for this amazing event.
A circular center Kabuki stage was video image-mapped and blended around a sheer curtain providing a seamless 360-degree image. Through the curtain, performers could be seen dancing in synchronization with video projections for a truly unique performance. At the end of the night, the Kabuki curtain dropped and the round stage became a dance floor for guests.
The main stage featured an arched backdrop that was video image-mapped with custom content. This synced with the choreography of the band and dancers on stage, creating a fully immersive and interactive element to the performances. The back-of-stage projections were also used for image magnification when presenters were at the podium. Two wireless HD cameras provided multi-shot coverage.
No Static included two 20K Barco Projectors, one for the front stage backdrop and one for a 50- by 30-foot wall in the Porsche Lounge, which came to life with custom content created by No Static. Four Christie 14K projectors were used for the center stage, which blended into a single, 360-degree image, while eight 90-inch LED displays lined the tent walls. Audio for the band was provided by No Static’s D&B PA, and 14 delay speakers were flown for the back-of-house in the massive 80- by 160-foot tent on the rooftop of the museum parking structure.” -Bizbash
